The Basic "win-win" plan: If you just take a Bible book, any book-such as Matthew-read it every day for a month, you will know it beyond measure! Even a few chapters a day... Then, keep applying this approach to each Book, one at a time.
This is the Simplest and best Way to Learn the Bible!
Keep this in mind: the more you expose yourself to His Word, the more He will expose His Word to you! And, this can be done in less time than it takes to watch a half hour TV show! You will have far more knowledge of His Word and be more active and involved in our Lord than perhaps 90% of Christians who usually just "pew sit" and do nothing with their faith. What will you do?

Did you know that the Bible is the most widely read book in the world? The Bible is quoted more often than any other piece of literature in history and has had more influence on our language, culture, and laws than any other book or idea ever published. Yet, most people seldom, if at all, ever read the Bible, including Christians! Why?
There is no substitute for time spent in the face of our Lord! The capable Bible student is rooted and grounded in the spiritual disciplines of the faith; his or her drive is the passionate love relationship to the Lordship of Christ. And, what flows out of it is the desire to love God's people, to herd them with love into the pastures of maturity.
The bottom line of why we are to study the Bible is so we may know God, His Way, and grow in our knowledge and faith in Him so we can then be better used by Him. We are called to spiritual growth-that is, the formation of the investment of faith, Christ gives us that we give back to Him in dividends. This is a deep conviction of our faith, a practiced submission that shows our obedience, and a life of personal and relational maturity. We can't do this when we bring what we want into Scripture and not take out what God wants us to have! We have to listen to God; if not, we will not learn and then we will not grow and then we will not have a life of transformation.
