Common Objections
What I want to do is challenge you to see some of the root causes why people turn you off when you evangelize. By knowing these common objections you will understand why they respond the way they do, so you will not take things so personally. That way you will not be turned off from doing evangelism yourself. This will give you greater confidence, so you will know how people respond, and then be better listeners and evangelists. Issues That Keep People Away
Youth will place their trust in anything that is not God, such as their money, their friends, and the high standard of living we enjoy in the United States. People on the Titanic could not see the peril that was right in front of them, so it is with non-Christians today. Just click on the evening news and you will be inundated by the moral erosion of our culture, and the flight from Godly values.

If you are not a believer in the Christian faith, we invite you to discuss with us your beliefs and reasons for not accepting the Christian world view. We believe that historical Christianity is a reasonable faith. The Christian should be able to give an answer for why he believes as he does.

If we are receivership oriented and not Christ centered, then all of those circumstances will be squeezed, and bitterness and resentment will flow out of them. Or we can be Christ centered and oils of sweetness will pour out. What pours out from you?

What is Your Legacy? You can be the example of faith and stewardship of what we have, which always comes from somewhere we did not make or refine. God is the Great Maker and Refiner; we give to Him and we become His representative as a show of gratitude and devotion. We can show character in adversity and in power that resounds though time and history long after we are gone.

For centuries, contemporary Christian music has been the subject of controversy. It's referred to as anything from mind control to the Devil's own music. From traditional chants, psalms, and hymns to the Christian rock, metal, and rap styles of today, forefront Christian music has and always will bring on some form of discord. Yet today, modern Christian music styles have proven popularity and positive effectiveness.

Applying Christ back to Christmas
Christmas is a precious season, meant to be a reminder of Who and What our Lord has done. It has anticipation, wonder, excitement, family values and precious moments and memories, especially for children. Yet, it has become lost, hidden behind shallow traditions and the emptiness of wants and perceived needs. I am not referring to the secular commercialism of Christmas, but in our own churches and Christian families. We forgot what it is all about! We are missing the message in our expectations as wells as our hurries and struggles and passions. We become so hurried and stressed over putting together a Christmas party or gathering we miss what it is all about!
