Spiritual Warfare

Do you know what Spiritual Warfare is all about? Most Christians do not!

Beware! Satan and his agents thereof seek to destroy and manipulate us. Spiritual Warfare is about Satan and his minion seeking to take what is God's. He wants God's chosen to be seduced to put their trust in him so their eyes are not on God or His ways. The devil wants his arrogance and pride to be contagious and be fuel for us, and for future Christians.

Take heart! The battle has been won, Satan score is zero; for God, the score is countless. The devil may have his anger and his bag of tricks, but He can't have those who are in Christ!

Real spiritual warfare has more to do with the battle of the will. Rarely will we see the fire and brimstone that we expect; rather, we see what we want to see. Our will is the prime motivator; our needs are motivators and our desires are agendas. God's precepts are there, perhaps even known to us, but they go unheeded, unapplied, and/or unused. God's desire is for us to be formed in Jesus Christ, and in Him as Lord. Satan wants us to be centered on anything but that; he wants us disobedient and distorted to the things of God, and God wants us surrendered and dependant with faith upon Him. This is the battle of real "Spiritual Warfare," where the line is drawn, where what we choose will determine whether we serve Satan or Christ. There is no in-between, no middle ground, and no other choice for us to undertake.

Keep in mind that Satan's role is to take and steal, and God's role is for us to build and grow. Satan doesn't want us to have what he has freely given up himself and cannot have back such as intimacy with God, ever abundant love, triumphant life, goodness, and purpose with relationships that glorify Christ. Satan wants all the glory for himself.

Spiritual Warfare

Part I: Do you know what Spiritual Warfare is all about?

Some Christians spend all their energies on this subject while others do not even know that they are to be on guard against Satan and his demons. They do not know that they need to be ready for attacks and be able to protect themselves against the veracity of "Spiritual Warfare." Others blame the devil and his entourage for all their ills, accepting no responsibility for their own life and actions.

Spiritual Warfare Part II

Have you ever been hammered by Satan and/or temptations?

If so, how did you handle them? Satan is real and he is powerful. Satan is our enemy, but we have access to an immensely far, far greater power. You must stand strong against him and not cringe with terror, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world...

Spiritual Warfare Part III

God Peruses to Protect Us

Keep this comfort in mind. As Satan is eagerly seeking after us, pursuing us, harassing us, partially causing us to get into troubling situations, God is also there pursuing us. As Satan seeks to molest us, God has already saved us. As Satan is being crafty and creating temptations and distractions God will use the situation for our benefit and His glory. The temptation that was supposed to bring chaos and a crises of faith can also bring us deeper in Christ with our persistent prayers and trust taking Satan's deceit to trick and deceive us people of faith to help us help others see evil's treacherous paths so we do not fall prey to them. The devil has gone down to us; the question is what are we doing about it?

Why does God allow Evil?

This subject is often called, "The Problem of Evil!" "Evil!"

When this word is proclaimed, images come to mind of Hitler, Mussolini, Saddam Hussein, a sadistic serial killer, or the mother who murders her own children. Perhaps Rwanda, Bosnia, the Killing Fields, concentration camps, gang violence, rape, heinous abuse, and murder are all images of evil. There is little dispute that such actions are evil; but, have you considered that evil can also be anything that goes against God? We may not think of ourselves as evil; perhaps sinners, moreover...

What about the Devil?

We have the opportunity and ability to either be influenced by Satan and evil or to turn our hearts to Christ alone.

Who is Satan?

Where did Satan come from? What does Satan do? What is Satan's position? What can Satan do to me? What is your response?

The Names of SATAN!

"Who is SATAN and what does he do?" Many do not believe that Satan exists; they think he is just the figment of an over-worked, bygone imagination. Such thinking greatly pleases Satan. The more covert he can be, the more successful he is.

Demons Modus Operandi

Who are the demons and what can they do to me? Have you ever had a really rough day? As you stress and toil through life, taking hit after hit from gossipers, prideful hypocrites, and others whose intentions were suspect; perhaps even malice laden. And, all the while, you remain steadfast in your walk with Christ, striving to model His character and love. Maybe what we are going though is Spiritual Warfare...

What is Hell?

Did you know it is also an act of God's grace?

Fire and Brimstone, the Reality of Hell!

Have you ever wondered what we are being saved from? This is not a pleasant, happy subject, but, nonetheless, it is extremely important for those whose call it is to help save the lost. (By the way, all Christians have this call!) We are saved, by Christ, from God's wrath and an eternity in Hell! But, what is Hell? "Hell" is a name that evokes both fear and contempt. It evokes fear from those who consider it the most heinous place conceivable and where they do not want to go. It raises contempt from those who consider it a figment of someone's distorted imagination, while others will argue that...

Where is our real struggle with Spiritual Warfare

Sin

Sin is missing the mark that our Lord has for us. Sin is a violation against God and His people. It was a Greek archery term.

The Fall

Up until the Fall, humanity drew their support and substance directly from God, in perfect relation, and when they fell it was all gone.

A Sinners Excuse!

1. I'm OK because I am a good person. 2. I'm too big a sinner to be a Christian 3. Not now! I'm just not ready yet. 4. There is too much to give up.

Recognizing Sin

What are the actions that we think we can hide from God?

Years ago they had soap operas on television that caught the attention of many believers. Some people would complain and say they would not be able to attend if the times were conflicting. What is it captivates so much when it comes to a soap opera?

The Sin of Tolerance

At home and abroad, the American people plead for broadâ??mindedness, tolerance and charity. Abroad, our ambassadors use all of their powers to influence warring parties to come to the conference table in a spirit of given and take.

Definition of Sins

What is sin and what does it do? We live in a world corrupted by sin, so everything is degraded from what it was meant to do. Man, the land, animals, plants, the air, everything is touched. Thus, the consequences of that fallen nature impact everything.

PRIDE GOES BEFORE DESTRUCTION

We cannot see the value nor get a grasp of the promises of God until we surrender our pride to Him!

Trick or Treat?

The old devil has many Tricks. But, has he pulled a trick on you? The Lord God has many Treats. This makes a great Halloween Tract.

Remember, we have the opportunity and ability to either be influenced by Satan and evil or to turn our hearts to Christ alone.
